Just because the river fishing season is open, doesn't mean the river is fishable. Mother Nature  determines water flow levels and during fishing season (actually all year) we keep a close eye on the conditions and pick the best time and location for success.  River fishing usually gets good (really good) after the spring run-off subsides in July. Those are prime dates that book fast!  But, don't forget about lakes!  There are lots of hungry fish coming out of winter there too! NCFF guides on lakes in the Methow Valley, including private access to Mocassin Lake, one of  premier private fly fishing experiences in Washington state.

Instruction

Instruction is always available for whatever level the guest needs. All trips include full-service professional guiding, flies, tippet, wading boots (if   necessary), rods (if necessary).  Waders are available to rent for $25/pair and are lightweight breathables.

Number of Anglers

Occasionally we can add a seat for a third person.  This is only possible at certain water levels and conditions.  Add $100 for third person on half-day trips and $150 for third person on full-day trips. Four or people more requires a second guide and therefore would be priced as 2 trips.

Food & Drink

Snacks and water are provided by your guide on all half day trips. We encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle as well.   Full day trips are not typical based on river and weather conditions, but we can discuss what will work best for you given the current conditions.  Lunch will be provided on all full day trips. Guides will have coolers to store your items during your trip.

Arrival & Departure

To optimize your experience, NCFF will plan based on current weather and water conditions.  We will contact you to discuss your level of experience, your goals, and any accommodations you may need to make the most out of your fishing experience.  A night or two before your trip, your guide will communicate all the logistics for your meeting location and time.  Be sure that you have provided us with contact information that will work locally.
